Today, the city of Calcutta, now known as Kolkata in India, lives in its present and past. One finds street vendors in certain parts of this city, offering goods which could be anywhere from flowers, kitchen utensils, fruits, curious, garments, steaming food to ladies purses and more. In modern times policies are being drafted to relocate these vendors maintaining their right to earn a living..
